Looking for new trustees who want to dedicate time, energy and skills to help conserve this unique heritage site and take it forward for future generations to use. Our trustees are responsible for the strategic direction of the charity and to help us move forward we are looking for five new trustees with particular experience of: Financial/commercial development – with experience of managing/leading visitor attractions Community engagement Heritage/ funding – with a background in Interpretation Horticulture/ estate management Fundraising Trustees meet formally four times a year but all trustees are encouraged to attend monthly meetings with the senior management team. Trustees serve on a voluntary basis, although reasonable expenses will be paid. We are particularly seeking to achieve a diverse Trustee board, therefore we actively welcome expressions of interest from people of all ages, ethnicity and backgrounds who have an interest in our work. Previous experience of being a trustee is not necessary and training will be given.
