Description

The Support Kitchen is going to be vital to people living on their own if they become ill and have no-one to help. We all know someone who can live quite independently, should they ever become ill they usually have friends or family to help out. In the current crisis, there are going to be days or even weeks where friends and family, even carers will not be able provide the support they usually do to those living on their own. This is where you, the Volunteers will be so important! Working with the Support Kitchen, we can ensure that whilst lone people may not have any other support, we can provide them with meals, especially important to help with recovery. With this in mind The Support Kitchen has been set up to provide cooked dinners, soup, and a plated tea. All homemade with fresh ingredients. Meals will be charged at cost only, not for profit. Demands for this service will change from day to day, with consideration to this we initially need volunteers to work on the following days; Mon - Assistant/Administrator Tue - Cook, Assistant, Assistant/Administrator Wed - Assistant, Assistant/Administrator Thu - Cook, Assistant, Assistant/Administrator Fri - Cook, Assistant, Assistant/Administrator Sat - Cook, Assistant, Assistant/Administrator Sun - Cook, Assistant, Assistant/Administrator Volunteer drivers will also be needed to deliver orders. Collection time of meals will initially be 11.45am, 12.15pm, 12.45pm, 1.15pm, 1.45pm
