This role is perfect for someone who either loves customer service roles or who likes to beaver away behind the scenes! Selecting the saleable items from the donations received. Sorting items for recycling. Pricing a wide range of donated stock (incl. clothes, books, homewares) in line with shop guidelines. Preparing items for sale by steaming, cleaning & quality checking. Ensuring that all eligible items are tagged correctly to allow Oxfam to benefit form 25% extra via the Gift Aid scheme. Customer service and till operations on the shop floor Creating shop floor and window displays What skills and experience are we looking for? You do not need specific skills and experience but the following would be useful: Commitment to Oxfam’s values of empowerment, accountability and inclusiveness. Ability to work within Oxfam’s policies and shop guidelines. An interest in fashion, homewares, toys and / or books. Ability to work well as part of a team and under own initiative. Willingness to learn. An organised nature. Two positive references.
